Hisar: In a significant step forward for Haryana’s civil aviation drive, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning officially opened the first commercial flight from Hisar to Ayodhya and laid the cornerstone for a new terminal building at Hisar airport. At first, commercial flights will run three times a week to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, and twice a week between Hisar and Ayodhya. The Prime Minister is revealing a broader range of development projects during his tour to the state, including the event that took place on Ambedkar Jayanti.

Speaking to a crowd following the groundbreaking of the new terminal building at Hisar Airport, Prime Minister Modi stated, “I worked here with a few of my party colleagues when the BJP gave me the responsibilities for Haryana. Their efforts have made the BJP stronger in Haryana, and I am pleased to see how committed the party is to realising the goal of “Viksit Haryana, Viksit Bharat.”

“Dr. BR Ambedkar, who draughted the Constitution, was born on this day. His life and teachings have served as the cornerstone of motivation for our government’s eleven-year history. We commit every day and every plan to him. Our goal is to improve the lives of women, Adivasis, Dalits, and backward people while also realising their aspirations,” he continued.

“What Congress did with Dr. BR Ambedkar is something we must never forget. They conspired against him to keep him out of the system, insulted him frequently, and caused him to lose elections twice. Congress has consistently attempted to discredit Dr. BR Ambedkar’s ideas. The PM emphasised that Baba Saheb Ambedkar is the focus of every policy and decision made by our government.
