PM Modi condemns Pahalgam terror attack: ‘Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice’

The terror incident in Pahalgam was sharply denounced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also declared that those responsible for the horrible deed will not escape punishment. According to Prime Minister Modi, their nefarious plan will never be realised, and India’s will to combat terrorism is unwavering and will only get stronger.

In addition, PM Modi prayed for the injured people’s quick recovery and offered his condolences to those who have lost loved ones.

“The terror incident in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is something I vehemently condemn. To those who have lost a dear one, my condolences. I hope the injured get better as soon as possible. We are doing everything we can to help those who are impacted. Those responsible for this horrible deed will not escape punishment! Their nefarious plan will never be successful. On X, Prime Minister Modi declared, “Our determination to combat terrorism is unwavering and will only grow stronger.”

Following a terror assault on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed Home Minister Amit Shah and urged him to take all appropriate action to address the situation. Amit Shah was also invited by PM Modi to visit the Union Territory.

At least 20 people were injured and many people killed when terrorists attacked the popular tourist destination of Pahalgham in the Anantnag region of south Kashmir on Tuesday.

According to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the number of fatalities is being determined. “This attack is much larger than anything we’ve seen directed at civilians in recent years,” he wrote in an X social media post.
