At a cost of Rs 3.5 crore, the interchanges are being constructed on both sides of the road close to Bhagpur village. Two ramps were constructed in the project’s initial phase, out of the four ramps that will be erected overall.

According to officials, construction on the two ramps on the Yamuna Motorway has started in order to guarantee seamless connection for the future International Film City in Sector 21 in Noida. The Yamuna Motorway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is building the project, which is situated 26.4 kilometres from the expressway’s zero point.
At a cost of Rs 3.5 crore, the interchanges are being constructed on both sides of the road close to Bhagpur village. Two ramps were constructed in the project’s initial phase, out of the four ramps that will be erected overall.
In the second phase, the remaining ramps will be constructed at a comparable cost. The ramps will allow direct access to the projected Film City and seamless communication.
Both the descending and ascending ramps will be 673 and 625 meters long, respectively. It is anticipated that both three-lane interchanges would be finished in a year. Since there isn’t already a direct connection to the Yamuna Motorway, this direct access is being constructed to guarantee seamless connectivity to Film City. According to the Hindustan Times, Yeida chief executive officer Arun Vir Singh stated that the underpass that has already been built in Bhagpur will help ensure continuous traffic flow.
Two road connectors will be provided by YEIDA.
To aid in continuing site preparations, YEIDA has additionally supplied two road connections from the 130-meter-wide service road. The 1,000-acre project would be completed in eight years at a cost of Rs 1,510 crore, including 230 acres in the first phase.
“The two ramps’ construction is a significant step in improving the region’s connectivity and bolstering the Film City’s rise to prominence as a significant creative and economic hub in Uttar Pradesh,” Singh stated.
‘New Agra Urban Centre’ to be established by YEIDA
Following the Uttar Pradesh government’s acceptance of the Master Plan-2031, YEIDA has expedited the ‘New Agra’ project. The ‘New Agra Urban Centre’ is a new city that YEIDA plans to build in Mathura and Agra. The planned city, which would span over 12,000 hectares, will prioritise the development of residential, commercial, industrial, and tourism areas.
